Jefter Chuma (Managing Director)
The Founder and Managing Director of ICRIT is a qualified well experienced health and social care professional. Having worked extensively both in academia and clinical practice, Jefter Chuma is well conversant in contemporary issues in mental health. He draws his experience from forensic mental health, acute mental health, community mental health as well as clinical research.
Jefter came up with the ICRIT concept. Which is the integration of clinical research, innovation and training into healthcare. The approach is based on using the best available evidence to inform clinical practice. To achieve this we will need to be innovative in the way we manage resources.
Jefter’s clinical interests are in Prodromal Symptoms of Schizophrenia and in Clinical Decision Making & Judgement. He has written and contributed papers within these clinical faculties.
Amongst his qualifications, Jefter has the following:
a. MSc Health Sciences (Evidence Based Practice)
b. Post Graduate Certificate in Education
c. BSc in Mental Health Nursing
d. Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
e. Leadership and Management
The Managing Director is supported by a dedicated Management Team which meets weekly to direct and monitor operational and financial performance of the company’s activities, business planning and policy development. The management team is supported by a qualified, trained, competent and dedicated staff team comprised of office administrators and field care personnel.
The ICRIT HEATHCARE Managing Director is accountable and responsible for the strategic direction, service development, compliance, quality assurance and performance of the organisation.
